AGLON IT & Aero Data was proud to be part of this year’s International Robotics and UAV conference (TusExpo 2017) organized by Robo-Valley and Robo-Business Europe. This is a conference bringing together industry players in the field of robotics and unmanned systems, with a focus on Unmanned Aerial Systems (UASs). A lot of the industry leaders in drone technology were present, with talks and discussions on various topics centered around current application and the future of robotics. As the only African tech-company participating in the conference, we were able to share our ideas and challenges and gave an overview of our operations and the development of the technology in Ghana. UAVs have definitely come to stay.A majority of the participants were of the view that we look at integrating UAVs rather than isolate them from manned aircraft. There were also discussions on the safety and security associated in the operation of UAVs, and an exhibition by some of the leading manufacturers of UAVs in the world.
